Our nurses are available by appointment, Monday to Friday, for dressings, vaccinations, blood-tests, ear syringing and other nursing advice. They also help to run Asthma, Well Woman, Diabetic and other Clinics.
A Travel Clinic is held by the practice nurse and you should book an appointment well in advance of travel abroad to allow time for a full course of treatment. There is a charge for travel vaccines, so please ensure that you have enough money or your cheque book with you. We cannot take credit cards.

Ante-natal & Post-natal Clinics
Mothers-to-be may see their doctor at either Newick or South Chailey.
The community midwife holds her own clinic at South Chailey on Wednesday between 09:30 - 11:50 and Newick on Wednesday between 12:45 - 15:15. Your doctor will refer you to this. The midwife may be contacted on 01273 474153 from 09:00 - 10:00 daily.
Post Natal appointments will automatically be issued by the surgery after the birth of your baby.
Well Woman Clinic
Please make appointments with the practice nurse. Thursdays, 14:00 - 17:00 covers most subjects concerning women, including cervical smear tests.

Cervical Smear Clinic
Please make appointments with the practice nurse. Smears are recommended at three yearly intervals up to the age of 50 then 5 yearly up to the age of 65.
You will be invited to see a doctor or the practice nurse. Tuesdays, 16:00 - 18:00, to monitor your progress.
You will be invited to see Dr Rajan, Dr Sheppard or a practice nurse. Clinics are held monthly, for examination and advice on managing diabetes.
Child Vaccinations And Immunisations
Appointments are with the practice nurse. Every Wednesday, 11:00 at Newick Health Centre.
Cryotherapy Clinic appointments for verrucae and warts are available every month. Patients must have seen GP to diagnose the problem before treatment.
