IN LIGHT OF THE CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK, IF YOU HAVE A NEW CONTINOUS COUGH OR HIGH TEMPERATURE PLEASE STAY AT HOME FOR 7 DAYS. PLEASE DO NOT VISIT THE SURGERY, A&E OR THE PHARMACY - YOU DO NOT NEED TO PHONE NHS 111 TO TELL THEM YOU'RE STAYING AT HOME.

USE THE NHS 111 ONLINE SERVICE - IF YOU FEEL YOU CANNOT COPE AT HOME OR YOUR CONDITION GETS WORSE OR YOU ARE NOT BETTER AFTER 7 DAYS. DO NOT VISIT THE SURGERY, A&E OR THE PHARMACY

Test Results

test_vialsPlease call after 11:30 to enquire about your test results as our reception staff will have more time to deal with your request.

Note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.

When you take your test you will be told how long it will be before the results are returned to the practice.

It is your responsibility to check your results and to make an appointment to discuss them with your doctor if your are advised to do so.

Specimens

If a doctor asks you for a specimen please ask for a container and make sure that you label it with your full name and date of birth before you bring the sample to the surgery.
